We are heading in to Thanksgiving. Right now, I'm scrambling to sew a closet of holiday clothes for my toddler girl. I want to make the kids Thanksgiving as thick with history, culture, and traditions as possible.
Today, we began our door turkey. It is a naked turkey made of felt and googly eyes, wearing an obnoxious pilgrim hat. Each day we clothe him in a construction paper feather with a thing for which we are thankful scribbled on it with crayon.
As I jam to The Black Eyed Peas, I invite you to craft with me. Sew with me. Goof up with me!
